My latest demo reel, January 2021.

AmaWaterways + Ancestry - October 2022

I edited this project for my client AmaWaterways. I cut it down from a weeks worth of interviews and b-roll, colored and performed the voice over button at the end. I hope you enjoy this heartfelt documercial.

I directed and shot this interview for FilmLight and HARBOR.

Presenting the winners of the FilmLight Colour Awards 2021

Joint winner for best colour grading in TV Series/Episodic: Damien Vandercruyssen at HARBOR, for 'Lisey’s Story'

Damien Vandercruyssen’s work at HARBOR on the series Lisey’s Story, shot by well known DoP Darius Khondji. The storyline blended reality and dreams, and the grade emphasised the differing environments, including startling marbleised faces.

I was a camera operator for this Tastemade spot. We shot with 3 different Canon C300MKIII cameras, one overhead, one on a tripod and the other on a dana dolly slider.

April 2021 - Picture Shop Post brought me on to shoot some process B-Roll of their colourist working on Netflix’s Shadow and Bone. The interview was captured by my ultra talented friend Alejandro Gonzalez @ Pyknic Films

Quinn P. Smith was born in Berkeley, CA and spent his childhood, skipping rocks, daydreaming, catching bugs and eating soft serve ice cream on the shores of Cape Cod. He graduated with a History degree from University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth and chased his daydreams to Los Angeles. In his five years in LA, he's served various forms of coffee to producers, directors and assistants alike.

Most of Quinn's film experience has been operating behind the lens, capturing moments in their purest forms. The three short films he's shot and produced have gone through the film festival circuit with a handful of awards and acclaim.

Quinn is a passionate filmmaker and his love of history has driven him to have an acute attention to detail. He holds the utmost respect for the true auteurs of our time and is forging a unique path of rich character driven content. Camila is the first short film he wrote, shot and directed and he will be the first to say, "it doesn't suck." Here's to making his mark in history.
